Three Cups of Tea: One Man’s Mission to Promote Peace… One School at a Time by Greg Mortenson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Maybe it’s because I’m heavily involved in an organization (The Global Outreach Foundation) that pushes for educational tools and opportunities, but I absolutely loved this book. I felt like I could relate to everything except for being right there in Pakistan and Afghanistan with Greg.

The thing that I loved most about what Greg Mortenson did and is doing is the simplicity of his mission. That education can solve the worlds problems and misconceptions. That through education and motivation, individuals are given an opportunity to realize their potential that they wouldn’t be given otherwise.

    What an amazing book.
